The Ruskin Gallery situated at the Millennium gallery in Sheffield showcases the unique collection of art and artefacts amassed by the world famous Victorian artist and scholar John Ruskin. 24 worked alongside Museums Sheffield’s curators and education team to develop a new visitor experience. The new gallery invites visitors to interact with the collection.

A mock-up of Ruskin’s desk encourages visitors to imagine Ruskin’s working process, touch-screens allow visitors access to the wider collection and selected audio helps to contextualise the collection. The gallery backdrop is vibrant with large-scale wallpapers and free-standing furniture. 24 were involved in all aspects of design, manufacture and installation.
