24 Approach:
We worked alongside our client to develop an installation that addresses the wider aspirations of the project which is to present visitors with layers of information within an exciting and engaging environment. The furniture consists of a wall system and central console unit that incorporates handling materials, AV equipment and hands-on access to a computer data base. We attempted to develop a comfortable and clean aesthetic that would encourage visitors to spend time within the gallery space talking with the conservators and engaging with the information on offer. The furniture is designed to be adaptable to the continuing development of the gallery space.
