24 Approach:
Housed on a heritage site at the Manchester Museum
this project required the team at 24 to design within specific building regulations to provide secure viewing areas for exhibits and study areas for visitors. Freestanding furniture including tables, partition walls and trolleys were created to allow flexibility in the use and configuration of the space while reducing risk of damage to exhibits. 24 manufactured the furniture in-house from a combination of materials such as solid oak, rubber and acrylic. The completed space has a light and contemporary appearance, is accessible to all visitors and is easily maintained. |
